Horizon Optical is a new, modern opticians based in Ennis, owned and operated by Rosaleen OSullivan, Proprietor and registered dispensing optician. She is joined by Ruth Nolan, registered optometrist and Tonia Moloney, frame stylist & optical advisor. The team of three were inspired to start this business to do things differently, to deliver a new and exciting optical offering to the people of Clare. The experienced team offer a customer-focused service with the highest quality frames & lenses to give you trend setting styles that, along with expert fitting, will give you everyday confidence in your look! HO have also invested in the most advanced ophthalmic equipment available, which, combined with their skilled optometrist Ruth, helps to ensure you get a first class eye examination when you visit.
At Horizon Optical, we have hand-picked all of our styles to suit different face shapes & skin tones, most of which are sourced from Italian fashion houses. The quality is unrivalled & styles are ever changing. We source new eyewear regularly which allows us to keep things fresh & unique which we know is something some customers really love - finding their own individual style that no one else (or very few) will be wearing also.
Among the big brand names, we stock eco-conscious brands, made from recycled materials ..... people want to help the planet & we can do this without compromising the look, feel & quality which aligns with where we want to be as a responsible optical provider.

We have a broad range of lenses to meet your needs. We source our lenses from high quality manufacturers like Essilor, Zeiss, Hoya & LR Precision who are based here in Ennis.

From start to finish a very enjoyable experience - a thorough examination from Ruth, explained in lay mans terms, followed on by time spent with the lovely Tonia, picking out frames and getting measured. Both ladies were so helpful and I didn’t feel one bit rushed.
To top it all off - great value aswell.
